Ed was so quiet and to himself in school. I'd try to get a smile out of him now and then. He had a heavy heart during those years and that was understandable. I ran into Ed at our 20th. He was completely different- totally outgoing and upbeat. I was surprised he even remembered me. Ed introduced me to his wife and we stood and talked for longer than all our conversations in high school combined. Ed was a great guy, a fine athlete and he will be missed.
