I received a call Jaime passed in June. I wish I had more details. She died in her home. Jaime had a significant other named Rick. Howdy Kabrins was in contact with Jaime prior to her passing, he may have more details. I would truly like our community to know so her life does not go unacknowledged.

Never really got to know Jamie during our 4 years at Beverly. However, based on our last names, we were seated next to each other at graduation.  In this short time, I found her to be very intellegent and very funny.  Yet, there seemed to be  a sadness about her.  May her memory always be a blessing

My only memory of Jaime wasn't a great one.  Age 12, there were a bunch of us at the BH YMCA for a dance.  To get kids to meet new friends, the MC called for a shoe dance and the girls each put a shoe in.  I picked her shoe.  When I located and went up to her, she said "Ew" and took her shoe back.

I suppose it is time to forgive.

I spent some fun nights at her house on Sunset Blvd. She was a bit mischievous which I liked, she and Janie Roberts were close friends. Both small and petite pretty girls. Haven't seen her since high school, never ran in to her anywhere.  So sorry for her loss.

Gavin,

I don't know you or the deceased, but I laughed out loud when I read your comment.  Maybe that isn't appropriate but it is honest.

May her memory be a blessing.  I remember her family's home on Sunset Blvd and once attended a party there.  While Jaime was very reserved and hard to get to know, I recall we all admired her beauty and her intelligence.  JLH

What can I say about Jaime; she was beautiful, oh so smart, so much fun, and an utter wild child.  She was one of my best friends through grammar school and high school. We shared countless crazy capers together, too numerous to mention.  She and Howdy Kabrins were the hottest, most bohemian married couple ever.  Guy Finlay and Shelley Steinberg (Cooper)were 2 more of her besties.  She and Teri Benaron (Blatt)were their very own girl posse. She led a very Big and varied life, dated Dennis Cole, was married to Mark Lindsay.  And later, she had her troubles. I was so sad to hear of her passing.  I’ll always remember her fondly as I knew her back in the day.

After hearing these comments about Jaime I had to pipe in, I knew her as Nancy had written way back in elementary school and somehow remember her bieng gorgeous, smart and funny.  We were actually good friends for years, and as we got older, high school, etc. I wanted to go out with her.  I will never forget what her comments were, I have always really liked you Robbie, but I keep you around becasue my image needs a goody two shoes like you! I really want to date older men, please do not take offense to it! More to this story, but I believe you all get the gist! May her memory be a blessing, and never let your smile dim!

Jamie was lovely.  She didn't care about other people's status or popularity.  She was just nice.  I'm glad to have known her.
